If you think this year Holiday Ops collections are almost impossible to complete, you’re not the only one. The removal of guaranteed Decorations from small boxes and the fact you are now forced to craft all your Decorations made it almost impossible for anyone to complete the collections without investing in Large Boxes.
Wargaming seems to have realised the fact the small boxes we receive from Missions and Parcels might not be enough to even get close to finishing a single Collection, meaning you would never achieve the maximum bonus to credits! To counter this, we now will have special weekend missions that can be completed once every weekend, which will reward you with a nice amount of shards!
Every weekend during Holiday Ops 2022, two simple missions will be waiting for you to complete in Random Battles (including Grand Battles) in Tier IV vehicles and higher. They will be available every Saturday at 07:00 CET through Monday, at 07:00 CET (UTC+1) from December 11, 2021, through January 10, 2022. Complete these missions to earn:
- Shards to craft decorations in the Large Holidron Decorider
- Antiduplicator Charges
Both Weekend Missions can be performed in parallel, over any number of battles. They will be renewed every weekend of Holiday Ops 2022 with the same conditions and rewards.

- Cause at least 2,000 HP of damage over any number of battles
- Only damage for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned is counted

- Random Battles and Grand Battles only
- Tier IV–X vehicles only
- Once per weekend

- Earn a total of 1,000 base experience over any number of battles
- Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned is counted

Hopefully, this will make it easier for you to finish those collections, especially those of you who are Free2Play! But let’s face it, this was a major screw up from someone who designed this year Collections and Shard mechanics and not properly calculating how much a player would need to invest in the game to complete something that, while it was a bit hard on previous years, it was feasible.
