I strongly believe this decision was made in order to separate Wargaming as a company into a similar structure currently in place for the Chinese market. This way, Wargaming can continue to work in the Russian and Belarus markets, but in a completely separate and independent way.
We currently do not have any details of what impact this will have on World of Tank’s development. Wargaming Minsk offices were World of Tanks headquarters where all development was held and planned for the game.
